A Week Abroad: No Planning Necessary
I’m a consultant, and my engagements are with companies in the US and abroad, but this post isn’t about my job. It’s not about me definig myself as a business-owner. It is about this opportunity that I had to deviate from the standard of making plans, organizing, schduling, and deliverying.
While on-site with one of my Bay Area clients, I was wrapping up a(nother) successful GoLive, so it was time to check in to my flight back home. While logged into United, I began perusing my MileagePlus points accumulation for 2019’s status. I found that I’d need only 5000 more miles to secure Premier status for 2019, somewhat a consolation prize in itself, as I’ve been reeling with the fact tht 1K statatus would be out of reach for this upcoming year. All or that to say, it was at this point that i would not let one international flight stand between me and United Platinum.
